Privacy policy

Petek Launcher (Honeycomb Launcher / مشغّل خلية النحل) is an Android home-screen app provided by MYIBU. Contact: support@myibu.com.

Information on your device

The app stores your installed-app layout, group names, favorites, hidden apps, search launch history and preferences locally. Selected wallpaper photos are copied to the app’s private storage. No account is required. The current app has no advertising, analytics SDK or Internet permission, and does not send this information to MYIBU.

Optional notification access

With your permission, Android gives the notification listener access to active notifications. Petek uses package and notification grouping information to show dots and counts. Notification message text is not saved or transmitted. Counts are kept in memory. You can revoke access in Android notification access settings. The launcher remains usable without it.

Photos and backups

You choose individual photos and backup files using Android’s file picker. A backup that you explicitly export contains layout, app identifiers, group names, favorites, settings and any selected custom wallpaper image. It is saved to the destination you choose, which may be a cloud storage provider. That provider’s privacy policy applies. Share backups only with people you intend to receive them.

Retention and deletion

Preferences remain until changed, app storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Exported backups remain where you saved them and must be deleted separately. Removing a tile from the launcher does not uninstall that app.

Support and this website

If you email support, we receive your address and what you choose to send, and use it to answer your request. Do not include passwords or sensitive notification content. This website has no analytics scripts or contact form. Hosting and email providers process technical information needed to deliver the site and support messages.
